The CMMG Banshee Mk4 in 5.56 NATO fills the role of a compact AR-style pistol intended for personal defense, range use, and close-quarters applications where carbine-length ballistic performance is needed in a maneuverable package. Built on the Mk4 platform, the pistol uses a direct impingement operating system with a carbine-length gas port and an adjustable .750″ gas block, channeling gas from a 12.5″ barrel finished with salt bath nitride (SBN) for corrosion and wear resistance. The upper receiver is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, while the lower is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, providing a weight-optimized yet rigid receiver set. The CMMG EML11 M-LOK handguard features full-length M-LOK slots on both sides and the bottom, plus M-LOK attachment points between the top Picatinny rail sections, allowing accessory mounting without handguard removal.

Every Banshee Mk4 ships with a full complement of CMMG ZEROED components installed: a drop-in single-stage trigger, 60°/90° ambidextrous safety selector, ambidextrous charging handle, ambidextrous magazine catch, extended magazine release button, AR15 bolt catch, pistol grip, trigger guard, and polymer dust cover. The pistol ships with the CMMG RipBrace on a 6-position Fastback receiver extension, providing a deployable brace option without NFA registration. The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28 and fitted with the CMMG ZEROED Linear Compensator. Finish is Bronze Cerakote applied to the receivers.
