Overview

The Magpul UBR (Utility/Battle Rifle) GEN2 Stock represents the pinnacle of collapsible stock engineering, delivering the best attributes of adjustable, fixed, and storage stocks in one robust platform for AR15/M4 and AR10/SR25 rifles. At the heart of the UBR GEN2 is a custom integrated A5/SR25 length receiver extension tube (included) that provides the secure mounting critical for stability and durability while accommodating carbine buffers and springs as well as aftermarket A5 buffer systems. Unlike traditional collapsible stocks, the UBR GEN2 provides solid “fixed stock” lockup and a consistent, comfortable cheek weld across all eight positions—seven adjustments plus fully collapsed.

Designed to handle big bore recoil and severe impacts in hard-use scenarios where flexibility and survivability are paramount, the UBR GEN2 features an enhanced lock mechanism with dual locking pawls for maximum drop strength and shock resistance. Multi-shell construction provides a solid foundation and shields critical operating parts from penetration damage. The easily adjustable buttstock requires only gross motor movement to operate yet maintains a streamlined, anti-snag profile. A reversible, removable storage compartment holds batteries, small parts, and gear, while the MOE SL angled-toe rubber butt-pad with rollover provides an anti-slip surface, impact protection, and easier shoulder transitions when using body armor. Front and rear integral ambidextrous QD sling sockets support one- and two-point configurations, with additional footman’s loops providing versatile sling mounting options. Made in the USA.
