Description

The Carbon Series is Diamondback’s entry-level DB15 line: a direct-impingement AR-15 built to deliver reliable performance without the premium price. This is the standard black hardcoat-anodized version, built on forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers pairing an A3 flattop forged upper with Diamondback’s Carbon forged lower. The 16″ barrel is 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium steel in a medium contour with a black nitride finish and a 1:8″ RH twist, fed by a mid-length gas system with a pinned gas block. The muzzle is threaded 1/2″-28 and ships with an A2 flash hider that can be swapped for other devices.

A 15″ free-float M-LOK handguard gives ample room for lights, lasers, and grips while keeping the barrel free-floated. Furniture is Magpul: an MOE grip and an MOE carbine collapsible stock. The bolt carrier group is a shot-peened, magnetic-particle-inspected mil-spec 8620 carrier, and the rifle uses a standard mil-spec single-stage trigger, so it accepts the full range of AR-15 components and optics. No sights are included. Ships with one 30-round Magpul Gen M3 PMAG. Built by Diamondback in Cocoa, Florida.
