Description

The Canik SFx Rival is a full-size, striker-fired pistol built specifically for competitive shooting disciplines including IDPA, IPSC, and USPSA, where its 5″ barrel, 8.1″ overall length, and 29.5 oz. unloaded weight meet the dimensional and weight requirements for participation without restriction. The Rival’s geometry — a double undercut trigger guard, ergonomically redesigned beavertail, aggressive grip texturing, and three interchangeable grip backstraps — is intended to reduce muzzle rise and provide consistent hand positioning across shooter hand sizes. A 1913 Picatinny accessory rail runs beneath the dust cover for light and laser attachment.

The slide features aggressive forward and rear serrations with porting to reduce reciprocating mass, and the firearm ships with an external mag-well for faster reloads. The flat-face aluminum trigger is lightened with a 90° diamond-cut face. Sights consist of a fiber optic front and a click-adjustable rear. The optic mounting system uses interchangeable interface plates compatible with the Shield RMSc, Trijicon RMR, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, Vortex Venom, and other compatible footprints. The magazine release is reversible, and three magazine release extension sizes are included. The ambidextrous slide release supports both left- and right-handed operation. The Canik Grey variant features a grey Cerakote base finish with Cerakote gold accent treatments on select components. The firearm is manufactured in Turkey.
