Description
The APX A1 Full Size is the flagship of Beretta’s APX family, refined from feedback by military, law enforcement, and tactical shooters and built on the pistol candidate that passed every stage of the US Army Modular Handgun System trials. It runs a striker-fired single-action trigger and a tilt-barrel, locked-breech system, and Beretta’s best-in-class trigger delivers a light pull, clean break, and short reset for fast follow-up shots. The optics-ready slide accepts a wide range of red dots via Beretta’s plate kit system, and aggressive front and rear serrations make racking and press-checks positive even in adverse conditions.
The black polymer frame features 360-degree extended texturing, a high undercut trigger guard, and an enhanced beavertail for a high, controlled grip, and ships with three interchangeable backstraps to tune length of pull and palm swell. Ambi-capable controls configure the slide stop and magazine release for right- or left-handed use, a 3-slot Picatinny rail mounts lights and lasers, and Beretta’s Aqua Tech Shield coating adds corrosion and chemical resistance. Ships with two 17-round magazines.
