The Beretta APX A1 Full Size Tactical FDE is the suppressor- and optics-configured variant within the APX A1 product line. It addresses the needs of shooters who require a suppressor-compatible, optic-ready platform out of the box without additional gunsmithing or aftermarket modification. The threaded 4.8" barrel accepts standard ½"–28 suppressors directly, while the suppressor-height sights maintain a usable sight picture when a can is mounted and allow co-witnessing with a red dot optic. The slide is pre-cut to accept optic mounting plates for a variety of red dot sights, extending the pistol's versatility for competitive, tactical, and duty applications.

The frame is constructed from polymer in FDE, paired with a matte black slide, reflecting the color combination common in the tactical market. The modular chassis design of the APX A1 platform allows the grip frame to be swapped for different configurations.
