Description
The Rough Rider is Heritage Manufacturing’s bread-and-butter rimfire revolver, and it’s earned its reputation by doing one thing well: putting rounds downrange reliably without asking much in return. The single-action-only mechanism means the hammer must be manually cocked before each shot — the same manual of arms as the Colt Single Action Army that defined the revolver category. That simplicity is a feature, not a limitation, making it an ideal platform for teaching fundamentals to new shooters or just enjoying a relaxed afternoon at the range.
The 4.75″ barrel wears a black Cerakote finish over a zinc alloy frame, with black polymer PolyStar grips and fixed sights front and rear. A manual thumb safety on the rear left of the frame provides an additional layer of security during loading and handling. The 1:14 twist barrel stabilizes .22 LR effectively across a wide range of loads. Manufactured in the USA by Heritage Manufacturing.
