Its exposed lead tip drives controlled expansion, and Hornady’s exclusive InterLock ring — a raised ring inside the jacket that embeds in the bullet’s core — keeps core and jacket locked together on impact, retaining mass and energy for reliable terminal performance. Loaded in new-production, non-corrosive, Boxer-primed reloadable brass, it runs 2,390 fps and 1,902 ft-lbs at the muzzle and feeds cleanly through lever guns and other .30-30 platforms.
