Overview

The Magpul MIAD (Mission Adaptable) GEN 1.1 Grip Kit TYPE 1 is a drop-in replacement for the standard AR15/AR10 grip, designed to improve ergonomics and firearm control through extensive customization options. This updated version features improved strap retention over the original MIAD and comes standard with the newest grip core that holds an included 1/2 oz. lubrication bottle. The interchangeable front and rear straps allow shooters to personalize the grip to their hand size and shooting style, while the aggressive texture ensures positive weapon control in all conditions.

Each kit includes three backstrap sizes (Small, Medium, Large) and two frontstrap options (A1 and A2 style), allowing for multiple configuration combinations to achieve the perfect fit. The 25-degree grip angle provides natural wrist positioning that reduces fatigue and improves control. The TYPE 1 Kit fits most 5.56×45 and 7.62×51 AR receivers, including AR15/M4 platforms and many 7.62×51 variants such as Aero Precision M5 308, CMMG MK3, HK 417/MR762A1, LWRCI REPR, POF P-308, Ruger SR-762, and SIG716. Optional storage cores enable custom waterproof storage of batteries or spare parts. Made in the USA with all mounting hardware included.
