Overview

The Magpul CTR (Compact/Type Restricted) Carbine Stock has been setting industry standards for years with its easy adjustments, clean handling, practical sling mounting, and refined aesthetics. Designed for Mil-Spec sized carbine receiver extensions, the CTR features a streamlined A-frame profile that avoids snagging and shields the ambidextrous release latch to prevent accidental activation during dynamic movements. What sets the CTR apart is its supplemental friction lock system that reduces wobble between the stock and receiver extension, helping lock the stock into place for “set it and forget it” confidence and improved accuracy.

The ambidextrous release latch allows for fast, easy length-of-pull adjustments from 10.3″ collapsed to 13.6″ fully extended, providing 3.3″ of adjustment range to accommodate different shooting positions and gear configurations. A premium chrome-silicon lock spring provides positive locking at each position and ensures long service life. The sloping cheek weld combines a slim profile with user comfort, while the removable 0.3″ rubber butt-pad offers an anti-slip surface for positive shoulder purchase with body armor or modular gear. An integral push-button QD sling mount accommodates up to 1.5″ swivels (ambidextrous), two footman’s loops, and a lanyard hole in the toe maximize sling mounting options. Compatible with Magpul ASAP, ASAP QD, other receiver-mount sling attachments, and snap-on CTR Cheek Risers for eye alignment with optics. Made in the USA.
