Overview
The Magpul AFG (Angled Fore Grip) is the original design that revolutionized fore grip ergonomics by considering natural body mechanics to provide a comfortable and stable user interface. By positioning the shooter’s hand high on the centerline of the bore, unlike conventional vertical fore grips, the AFG helps mitigate recoil and provides superior firearm control to facilitate faster, more accurate follow-up shots. The angled design reduces fatigue during extended shooting sessions while allowing for more precise firearm control across various shooting positions.
The three-piece polymer construction includes an interchangeable finger shelf that allows shooters to choose between a flat “A1-style” surface or an “A2-style” finger nub, providing customization based on individual preference and shooting style. At 2.92 ounces and 5.55 inches in length, the AFG delivers a comfortable grip interface without adding excessive weight or bulk. Compatible with most any M1913 Picatinny-railed handguard, the AFG easily mounts to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny and NATO STANAG 4694 rails with a minimum of 4 inches of rail space recommended. Made in the USA with all mounting hardware included.
