Description

The Pro Mag AK-47 30-Round Steel-Lined Magazine addresses the need for a durable, domestically manufactured replacement magazine for Kalashnikov-pattern rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm. The magazine body is constructed from DuPont® Zytel™-based polymer with an integrated steel liner, combining the corrosion resistance and light weight of polymer with the structural rigidity of steel. Feed lips and both the front and rear magazine catches are formed from over-molded stamped steel, providing wear resistance at the critical contact surfaces that engage the bolt carrier and receiver. The magazine spring is formed from heat-treated chrome silicon wire, offering consistent spring tension across the full 30-round capacity. The injection-molded polymer follower presents a smooth, consistent cartridge presentation to the chamber.

Compatibility covers most common Kalashnikov variants chambered in 7.62x39mm. Note that this magazine does not fit unconverted Saiga® rifles due to their altered magazine well geometry. Manufactured in the USA.
