Description

The TANGO-MSR is SIG SAUER’s answer to the low-power variable that has to do everything on an AR. A true 1x on the bottom end lets you run it both-eyes-open like a red dot for close work, then twist to 6x when the target is a small silhouette a few hundred yards out. The optical system is built on low-dispersion glass with SpectraCoat coatings, and the glass-etched reticle gives you a bright center aiming point in daylight without washing out the holdovers underneath it.

Illumination runs off a single coin cell with enough steps to stay usable from bright sun down to dusk. The turrets are capped and finger-adjustable: you zero it once and leave it alone, holding over on the reticle instead of dialing. The tube is hardcoat anodized aluminum, waterproof, fogproof and shockproof, and it ships ready to bolt on, with a one-piece cantilever mount, factory-installed lay-flat lens covers and a thread-in throw lever all in the box.

Compatibility & Fitment

Rail Space Required A continuous flat-top upper receiver rail. The cantilever pushes the scope forward far enough to get correct eye relief on a carbine-length receiver.

Host Platform Fit Flat-top AR-15 and AR-10 upper receivers. The included mount puts the scope at an absolute co-witness height class for AR use; verify clearance on rifles with a fixed front sight base.

Objective Clearance The objective bell is the same outer diameter as the maintube, so the scope carries a straight profile with no flare at the front. It clears free-float handguards and gas blocks that a flared 40mm+ objective would not.

Alternate Mounting The 30mm tube fits any standard 30mm rings if you would rather run a different mount than the one in the box.
