Description

Hornady BLACK ammunition is designed to deliver consistent, platform-agnostic performance across the broadest possible range of 338 ARC firearms. Loaded with a 175-grain hollow point bullet, this load is optimized to fit, feed, and function reliably in direct impingement, gas piston, suppressed, unsuppressed, inertia, bolt, pump, and pistol-configuration platforms — whether running supersonic or subsonic, carbine-length or rifle-length gas systems.

The 338 ARC (Advanced Rifle Cartridge) is a relatively new intermediate cartridge developed for extended-range performance from AR-platform rifles. Compatible manufacturers for 338 ARC barrels and uppers include Aero Precision, Ballistic Advantage, Brownells, Carbon Six, CMMG, Faxon, KAK Industry, ODIN Works, Palmetto State Armory, Preferred Barrels, Primary Weapon Systems, PROOF Research, Seekins Precision, Stag Arms, and Uintah Precision. Each round is loaded with high-quality cases, primers, and propellant to Hornady's manufacturing standards. Proudly made in the USA.
