The Canik SFx Rival-S Darkside builds directly on the design of the SFx Rival by replacing the polymer frame with a steel frame, adding mass to reduce felt recoil and improve muzzle stability under rapid fire — a meaningful advantage in competition shooting where split times and target transitions are critical. The steel frame retains the full-size ergonomics of the Rival platform, providing a familiar grip geometry with room for three interchangeable backstraps to accommodate different hand sizes.

The Darkside variant ships with a black nitride finish and includes two optic plates compatible with a range of red-dot footprints, including the Shield RMSc, Trijicon RMR, Canik ONYXc, Canik PHANTOMc, Canik ONYX XL, Canik PHANTOM, Delta Point Pro, and Vortex Venom. The flat-face aluminum trigger, fiber optic front sight, and click-adjustable rear sight are standard. An external magwell, three magazine release extensions, and two 18-round magazines are included, making this a competition-configured pistol that requires no immediate aftermarket modification. This firearm is intended for competition shooting, action pistol sports, and high-volume range use.
