The Canik SFx Rival-S Darkside is a steel-framed competition pistol built on the platform established by the SFx Rival. The substitution of a stainless steel frame in place of a polymer chassis increases overall mass to 42.72 ounces unloaded, providing additional inertia to mitigate felt recoil during high round-count competition strings. The full-size ergonomics and 5-inch barrel deliver a longer sight radius and greater muzzle stability compared to carry-oriented pistols in the same caliber.

This Darkside variant ships with a black nitride finish, rosewood grips, and includes two optic plates compatible with Shield RMSc, Trijicon RMR, Canik ONYXc, Canik PHANTOMc, Canik ONYX XL, Canik PHANTOM, Leupold Delta Point Pro, and Vortex Venom footprints. The flat-face aluminum trigger is factory-installed for a consistent trigger face engagement geometry across the full finger surface. Sights consist of a fiber optic front and a click-adjustable rear, allowing precise windage and elevation corrections without tools. The pistol ships with an external magwell, custom holster, three grip backstraps, three magazine release extensions, and two 18-round magazines, providing a competition-ready configuration directly from the case.
